Corporate Reporting Professional Accountant

This position is a member of the Finance Share Services Corporate Reporting team. This position will be responsible for corporate financial reporting of BU partners, which includes quarterly financial reporting for BU partners, maintaining Hyperion Financial Management database and general accounting activities. In addition, this position will perform various reconciliations on a global basis between the general ledger and corporate financial information.
Principal Accountabilities:
25% - Prepare corporate Financial Reporting Packages on a quarterly basis
35% - Maintain Hyperion Financial Management database
10% - Prepare and Maintain reports in Hyperion Financial Management
10% - Review new accounts and legal entities in Summit general ledger
10% - Reconcile data in PeopleSoft, HFM and Cartesis
10% - Complete or assist in completion of miscellaneous projects
Required:
-
4 year Accounting degree or 4 year Business/Finance degree
- 2 years of applicable work experience
- Demonstrated team player
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Demonstrated continuous improvement focus
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to internal controls
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, self-motivated
- Strong problem solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience in Accounting information systems: Hyperion Financial Management, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards and/or Cartesis
