This division leads the industry in providing innovations in the areas of grain origination, agronomic and grain marketing consulting, and crop input supplies. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Customer Service Coordinator in Kindersley, SK provides front-line customer support for location sales and consulting teams by ensuring consistent execution in customer transactions. This is a key position to the facility to ensure communication between sales and consulting teams, operations and customer service administrators.


This is an 18 month term position. After the term is complete you could be considered for other positions within Cargill.

 

Principal Accountabilities:


45% - Provide front-line customer support through customer inquiries, pass along leads to appropriate sales staff, and purchase grain or sell inputs within established guidelines


15% - Coordinate grain deliveries with farm customers to meet shipment requirements, determine outstanding contracts to deliver, work with operations staff and customer relationship database to coordinate delivery with customers

 
15% - Coordinate direct to farm deliveries of fertilizer, seed and crop protection products


15% - Process select business transactions and provide information to customer service administrators to ensure efficient processing of transactions including but not limited to crop input commitments, sales orders and grain contracts


5% - Proactively review and communicate to facility team and execute key financial control areas

5% - Support sales and consulting teams to ensure available credit limits are in place for sales

Required:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Minimum 2 years experience in a professional business environment
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a variable workload

• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada on a non-temporary basis


Preferred:


• Post secondary diploma in Business or Administration
• Understanding of agriculture practices and challenges
• Experience with customer relationship management software
