Located within Qantas Loyalty your new position as Media Campaign Analyst will see you designing, building and analysing targeted campaigns with a rich data set; for internal and external clients across digital channels including online, social platforms and search engines.
You will be responsible for:

Performing pre-campaign analysis to understand clients’ business needs and objectives, and hence identify target customers. Reviewing previous campaign results including market research to develop trend analysis.

Translating the high-level campaign brief and building to specific data requirements by working with media consultants to specify appropriate target offer, control and reference groups.

Maintaining a continuous improvement approach to delivery around campaign execution optimisation, data and systems.

Designing and developing reporting on outcomes of campaigns and recommendations for future campaign activity by using tools inc. SQL to interrogate and data mine various corporate databases to extract customer intelligence that can be used to drive customer centric reporting.

Building and publish post-campaign learnings and recommendations in a timely manner, relevant to the various audiences.

Analysing and providing advice on both short and long term efficiencies which may be achieved through changes to campaigns and products.
To be successful in this role you will display:

Proven extensive experience in and understanding of SQL and Microsoft Excel
-
Tertiary education in Mathematics, Marketing, Statistics, Computing or related analytical field or equivalent related experience.

Experience in Adobe Audience Manager, DoubleClick, Google Analytics, Omniture, SAS, Tableau preferred

Knowledge of statistical modelling tools and techniques e.g. SAS, segmentation, propensity models preferred

Digital marketing experience within Australian markets highly desirable

An understanding of and experience in online infrastructure e.g. cookies, tags and ad serving

Strong influencing & relationship management skills, excellent communication skills

Demonstrated responsibility, highly organised with ability to own and work on multiple tasks

Proactive, results orientated, robust problem & issue solving skills

Strong team player with willingness to support other team members

Exceptional professionalism and strong ability to ‘make things happen’

Ability to deal with ambiguity, remain focussed, high level of energy, enthusiasm and commitment
