Team Leader – HR focus

Northern Regional Alliance (NRA) is a government organisation supporting the Northern region DHBs in a range of areas.  NoRTH, a division of the Northern Regional Alliance (NRA) is responsible for the recruitment and support of primarily training Doctors within the three Auckland DHBs. 

This position is responsible for the day to day management and leadership of a team of four who are responsible for supporting a range of HR functions to do with the rotation of training doctors in the Auckland region.  Key to this role is the coaching and development of the team and the ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders within the Auckland regional DHBs and various professional groups associated with the training and compliance of training doctors.

This role will require the successful applicant to have proven experience leading and managing teams, the ability to manage challenging situations, excellent interpersonal skills and highly developed communication skills both in written and verbal format.  Experience in an administration role with excellent skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, will be required.  Ideally the successful applicant will have knowledge of the health sector and a relevant tertiary qualification.
