Tetra Pak Processing Equipment Inc. is adding an Automation Engineer to the team at our Winsted, Minnesota location.

Responsibilities

Commission food processing and packaging automation systems. Customize software and hardware necessary for product specifications. Assess customer requirements, quote automation projects, and make purchase specifications. Perform automation design and programming including verification of software. Design, test and configure control panels, motor control centers, Ethernet networks, ASI networks, pneumatic circuits, and SQL databases that makeup the automation systems. Participate in product support and development projects.

• Employer requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with food processing automation systems.
• Work experience must have included: (1) RSLogix 500 and RSLogix5000; (2) WonderWare (InTouch) and Bejier applications; (3) Virtual Machines and VMWare; (4) PLC and HMI programming; (5) Cross functional problem solving, automation networks and installation; and (6) Automation control applications, including functional descriptions, instrumentation applications, and system start-up/commissioning.
