Responsibilities may include:
 
Works within a multidisciplinary team to establish and achieve team goals including completions, implementation, production, technology. Evaluates well performance using analytical and simulation tools as appropriate to understand the impact of completion design, lateral placement and reservoir quality on well productivity, EUR and recovery efficiency. Develops areal type curves used for LRP production forecasting and individual well AFE's. Works with Implementation RE's to understand the areal variability in well performance and provide support for forecasting of individual wells as needed. Provides communication of the progress of projects to the Team and Management. Provides recommendations for PVT sampling. Coordinates acquisition of samples. Evaluates PVT data to determine whether EOS needs updating. Participates in knowledge sharing and effectively communicate learning's through URE network.
Basic/Required:
 
Successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
 
Master's degree or equivalent in Petroleum Engineering and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years reservoir engineering experience in the oil & gas industry including performing reservoir simulation modeling, utilizing PSIM software, analyzing unconventional resource plays; performing compositional PVT modeling using PVTSim; performing integrated asset modelling and nodal analysis experience with Petroleum Experts software, performing production analysis using Fekete Harmony, and performing economic modeling.
