ConocoPhillips Alaska and its heritage companies have more than 50 years of business history in Alaska. As Alaska's largest oil and gas producer, the company produced an average 193,000 barrels of oil and 43 million cubic feet of gas per day in 2013. ConocoPhillips, with about 1,100 Alaska employees, holds major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay Unit, the Kuparuk River Unit, the Colville River Unit (Alpine), and the Cook Inlet Area. ConocoPhillips operates the Kuparuk and Alpine oil fields as well as the Kenai Liquefied Natural Gas Plant, North Cook Inlet platform and Beluga River Unit gas field. Description
 
ConocoPhillips Alaska is seeking two high school students to participate in our High School Intern Program. The objective of the program is to provide eligible high school students exposure to the corporate work environment and the oil and gas industry. This program will run from June 2014 to June/July 2015. The successful candidate will work 2 to 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday with the possible option of work 8 hours per day during the summer months, depending on work load.
