We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team which provides recovery support and treatment to people in West Auckland.

Whilst working within the MDT you will offer psychological assessment and interventions, therapy, and consultation. You will provide care coordination to your clients receiving psychological treatment. This includes tasks such as liaising with family, other teams/agencies, and ensuring other tasks related to care within a secondary mental health service are completed. The clinical psychologist role is supported by a professional senior and a professional advisor within mental health services.

Essential
• Degree in Psychology
• Postgraduate Diploma of Clinical Psychology or equivalent
• Psychological assessment skills
• Able to provide evidence based specialised interventions including neuropsychological and psychometric testing and therapies
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
• Risk assessment and safety planning skills
• NZ Psychology registration and APC

Desired
• Experience in care coordination
• Experience working within a DBT framework
