This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, New Zealand registered Medical Laboratory Scientist.
The Virology & Immunology department of LabPLUS includes a number of sections offering reference testing with differing techniques and interests such as serology, autoantibodies, protein, and allergy allowing for well-rounded scientific development in the discipline. This combination of experiences is not available elsewhere in New Zealand.
There is an on-going programme of improvement in LabPLUS which may entail working across other departments in the future.
We are looking for a motivated, qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist who will enjoy rotating through these sections and add to the department’s already fine reputation.
This is a permament fulltime position, working on rostered shifts.
Preference will be given to registered Medical Laboratory Scientists with relevant, recent practical experience. The successful candidates will demonstrate ability, dedication, eagerness to learn and develop, and a good sense of humour.
