Financial and operational reporting and analysis, both formal and informal, including quality review of other staff. Successfully complete tasks independently, using a self-motivated, proactive approach. Small Business data projects for strategic change, transitional relief, ACR, and plan change impact. Ad hoc requests from management new report development, research/coordinate/maintain reporting changes needed.


Maintenance and development of SQL reporting tables and systems, including writing stored procedures, developing reporting. Oversight of data credibility controls, for data warehouses and customer reporting tools, ensuring financial results align with reporting tools. Oversight of KARA data controls, ensuring accurate input, maintenance of targets and variance analysis. Assist in data and system portions of Corporate audits, DOI requests and other regulatory requests. Project managing strategic change, procedural change, reform compliance and operation metric reporting.
 

Oversight of Underwriting’s financial controls, including developing and amending policies and procedures, monitoring controls in place and maintaining documentation for levels of approval authority.

Basic Qualifications:
 
- Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
-  5 plus years of experience in Healthcare Finance, Accounting and/or Underwriting

- Expert level of understanding of financial statements
- Data expert – experience with managing large databases and extracting information efficiently
 
-Management report development and self-managed quality control
 
-Expert  Excel and Access
 
- Self-starter that can handle gathering business requirements, overseeing development and testing changes to complex systems
 
 
Preferred:
 
-  SQL, VBA experience
- Experience with regulatory reporting and interaction with DOI
- Experience designing and conducting audits
