Sales Manager Middle East & Africa

The Sales Manager Middle East & Africa generates end-user pull and creates visibility and awareness of the Barco products, systems and solutions in the region in order to increase revenue and margin.
He/she will focus on the Industrial & Governmental (I&G) and Entertainment & Corporate (E&C) markets of which our main product lines are Video Walls and related Controllers, Large Venue Projectors and Collaboration Equipment.

Principal Responsibilities:

In your role as Sales Manager, you will be an active team member of our team in the Middle-East.

In this position, you will:

· Prospect and demonstrate the features, specifications and benefits of the Barco solutions to the end-user & partner community.

· Generate and follow up leads with on-site visits, demonstrations, etc.

· Qualify the opportunity, collect and evaluate the customer needs, and consequently provide the appropriate value proposition in return

· Support the various partners, system integrators with solutions offering, commercial advice and detailed quotations

· Keep up-to-date records in the company's CRM system;

· Interface and provide regular sales forecast and reports as well as feedback on marketing and products/services;

· Be an ambassador for Barco, maintaining a lasting and positive impression with all contacts through efficient use of product knowledge and customer service approach. Become a trusted advisor.

· Provide quotations in line with applicable pricing and other related commercial terms;

· Participate, as requested, in other relevant activities, such as trade events;

· Develop solid relationships with local and regional channel partners and local teams of Barco’s global integrators, in order to develop a successful route to market

In good and reasonable conduct we may ask the incumbent holder may be to perform other duties, tasks and/or responsibilities from time to time;

The role requires frequent travel within the MEA region (+/- 70%).

Proven successful sales experience in the Middle-East region and by preference in the I&G and E&C market vertical.

You are holding a  business or commercial Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree.

· You have a sales hunter profile.

· Your communication and presentation skills are advanced.

· You enjoy working in a team and bonding over common goals.

· You are self-starting and well-organized.

· You are fluent in English. Arabic and French are a plus.

· You are enthusiastic, flexible, integer, creative and customer oriented.

· You have an open and dynamic personality to discuss with customers, understand their requirements, and can report back into the organization to “make it happen’’.
