Sr Project Manager
Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization. May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of this position.
- Tracks budget to actual on all active projects and reports variances to project sponsor.
- Assist with all escalated concerns between IT Department, contractors and/or vendors.
- Responsible for understanding IT operations and prioritizing multiple projects for completion.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project plans in Microsoft Project software or other applications to support specific IT initiatives.
- Manages all phases of IT implementation project timelines in order to ensure success and efficiency.
- Provides direction to a project team including assignment of individual responsibilities, tasks and technical functions.

- Facilitates feedback and suggestions for operational improvements and incorporates recommendations as appropriate.
- Works closely with analytical resources to proactively identify redesign potential and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures successful implementation of extended opportunities identified by the company.
- Acts as platform resource for understanding key factors and influences.
- Acts as liaison for communications between the IT Department, contractors and vendors.
- Assists and supports senior management in defining goals and objectives and prioritizing tasks that support established goals and objectives.

Responsibility & Decision Making Authority
Normally receives no instructions on routine work and general instructions on new assignments. Generally, work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Applies extensive knowledge of the job, and company policies and principles to complete a wide range of tasks. Work assignments are complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple teams.
- Strong skills in prioritizing complex projects and ability to recommend changes in order to bring projects within budget constraints.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and hold accountable for results.
- Must be fluent in English verbal and written communications.
- Strong organizational skills. Need to be able to prioritize in a fast paced environment, adjust to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Must be analytical and detail-oriented.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical/financial concepts such as ROI, Payback Analysis, basic statistical methods, and standard mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization, including presenting information.
- Ability to manage groups of people in a discrete project environment.
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
- Ability to work regular; predictable attendance is a requirement

Computer Applications
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), email (Microsoft Outlook) and internet (Microsoft Explorer). Knowledge of databases. Advanced knowledge of project management software tools such as MS Project
Education
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Strong performance analysis work experience required.
Job Experience
Four (4) years related experience.
