Assistant Director, Human Resources

The Assistant Director, Human Resources provides significant professional, analytical and technical support to implement HR related change objectives, development and maintenance of HR policies, programs and procedures.  This role oversees the areas of risk management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement/performance, talent acquisition and on-boarding, disability and leave management, organizational development, strategy and design.

Minimum Requirements:

1.    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources (Business Administration) or related discipline or equivalent in relevant work experience.

2.    Experience advising and educating leaders with respect to employee performance and engagement, retention, talent management, organizational development, employee relations issues and the Human Resources-related laws, regulations and practices. 

3.    Demonstrated expertise in consulting with Leaders and employees regarding HR issues that arise throughout all stages of the employment relationship. 

4.    Demonstrated expertise in a wide variety of operational aspects of Human Resources processes or applications, including but not limited to employee relations, benefits, job evaluation and compensation systems. 

5.    Requires proven successful experience in HRIS, supervisory training and development, and conducting harassment investigations. 

 

Preferred experience/skills:

1.    SPHR certification.

2.    Healthcare HR experience.
