Description:
ConocoPhillips is looking for a Training Administrator to join our Lower 48 Training team. This position requires a highly motivated and self-directed individual to provide system administration and training related planning and scheduling for various Business Units and/or functional groups. This person must be able to work with a broad customer base, providing excellent customer service and support in a fast paced demanding environment.
Responsibilities may include:
System Administration
- Learning and Competency Management System Administrator
- Lead point of contact for LMS/CMS for area of responsibility
- Local and regional support
- Assign learner training via Learning Management System
- Set up new courses and course offerings
- Maintain training plans by job role in LMS
- Maintain training and competency records in appropriate repository
- Provide training to new users of LMS/CMS
- Troubleshoot with existing customer base as problems arise
- Administer Metrics that Matter (MTM), ensuring we are measuring the effectiveness of all our L48 training programs.
- Coordinate feedback process for assigned learning events, compile and distribute results
- Administer the Personnel Management of Change process
- Provide system administrative support to Training Coordinators
Reporting
- Generate reports and metrics for supervisors, leadership and training team.
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports from MTM for team members and leadership
Scheduling
- Schedule classroom training including instructors, classroom, and catering
- Ensure classroom instructors have all necessary materials for a successful class
- Plan, coordinate and make arrangements for on-site and off-site conferences, meetings and special events
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1+ years of experience planning and scheduling
- 1+ years of experience in customer service
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience with Learning Management Systems
- 1+ years Upstream Oil and Gas Industry Experience
- 1+ years project management experience
- Must be highly organized, self-motivated and attentive to detail
- Adaptable to shifting priorities, demands and timelines within a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
