Responsible for inventory control ofpacking materials, WIP materials, raw materials, and indirect supplies for theKraft /Oscar Mayer plant in Newberry,SC.
Planning shipments of Semi-finished goods.
Scheduling of WIP production to meet business needs and plant constraints.
Management of raw, pack, WIP, and finished inventories.
Investigate and resolve all scheduling or supply issues affecting the Newberry plant.
Resolve receipt, invoice and other issues related to materials and supplies.
Work with corporate planning and procurement teams to achieve business objectives.
Work with production to measure and improve compliance to schedule.
Coordinate material changes, tests, and new product launches.
Work with suppliers to improve quality,delivery, and cost.
Identify and implement projects to improve cost and cash flow.
Provide leadership to clerical staff.

 
Bachelor’s degree required.  Business or Logistics major preferred.
2-5 years’ experience in production,planning, scheduling, and/or procurement.
Manufacturing experience required.
Distribution experience preferred.
Understanding of MRP and Inventory Control processes preferred.
Understanding of relationship between Manufacturing,Logistics, and Finance is a plus.
Understanding of transportation andshipping functions of the plant and buffer warehouses preferred.
Strong in MS Office, SAP, and Kraft logistics systems.
Excellent communication skills required.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage change required.
