Job Responsibilities:
- Achieves business goals through use of DBS, effective business leadership and execution of marketing strategies. Determines and formulates operational and business strategies and provides overall direction of the product family.
- Directs, plans, and implements strategy, objectives, operational activities and internal control procedures for the product family in accordance with the overall strategy of the company in order to achieve profitability, growth, and operational results.
- Analyzes and evaluates product development, marketing and other operations to assess performance of product family and then implements counter-measures as needed.
- Creates, implements and manages product marketing and communications campaigns. Responsible for collaboration with appropriate matrix teams to achieve lead generation and revenue goals.
- Develop, lead, and execute new marketing programs related to new product proposals and introductions, product line modifications and pricing proposals. Coordinate business relationships with third parties, joint marketing partners and other industry participants.
- Assures effective support of sales through creation of standard work for marketing tools used by sales e.g. demo instruction and tool development, functional demonstrations, etc.
- Leads the development of value selling approaches that creatively leverage competitive advantage and customer habits.
- Leads competitive analysis and research of competitors; develops and executes response initiatives including understanding of how competitive products compete with products in portfolio.
- Leads the development of prioritization of customer needs in price/performance on product lines. Leads efforts to capture key customer needs for future products.
- Degree within either business or software engineering and MBA preferred
- Understanding of the customer segments and product applications for Biomedical's industries and devices.
- Able to interface with customers, translating needs into products; experience with outcome driven innovation preferred.
- 5+ years of technical product management experience
- Medical testing and measurement – both hardware and software experience at an OEM, at Testing Device Manufacturing or equivalent is preferred
- Experienced BIOMEDs are encouraged to apply
- Possibly up to 25% domestic and international travel
