New England Drug Discovery Sales Representative,  includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island.


Molecular Devices is seeking a Sales Professional responsible for the sales activities associated with the Drug Discovery Screening product platform in the Mid-Atlantic/Eastern Canada territory.  A Sales Professional is required to will build and maintain strong customer relationships directed toward growing Molecular Devices’ market share, revenue and profitability year over year.
  
Target Market:
Pharma/Biotech accounts - Basic research PI, Core & HTS labs
Academic accounts - all life science research, basic PI and Core labs
Government research accounts
Validation labs -CRO's

BS Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences discipline.
At least 5 years sales experience. A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated sales success (top 15% of peer group). Capital equipment experience a must, preferably in drug discovery pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. Must live near Boston and a major airport as territory may demand travel.
