Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to Starbucks success by moving product within a warehouse or distribution center in accordance with production and delivery schedules and other business requirements. May fill orders. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities

Ensures quality by continually reviewing work to detect and correct errors.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Performs a range of shipping, receiving and inventory control duties, including loading and unloading of trailers, replenishing stock, filling orders, providing inventory services, and completing required documentation of product movement.

Over-the-road driving tractor-trailer combonations, including backing, hooking, and dropping trailers and performing routine maintenance.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Current Class A Commercial Driverls License (CDL)

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Flexibility to work overtime as required, even on short notice

Ability to follow verbal direction

Ability to understand written policies and guidelines, specifications and safety standards

Familiarity with computerized inventory and order selection systems

Familiarity with American Institute of Baking (AIB), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards

Knowledge of equipment maintenance

Ability to operate required material handling equipment

Ability to work in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards, policies and guidelines
