Job Description
- Responsible for Kraft Foods portfolio within assigned Kroger Division. Revenue responsibility varies across Kroger geographies.
- Collaborate & Engage with Kroger Division Management & Category Managers to optimize execution of the Kroger G.O. Sales Plan. Maximize compliance to sales plan, while capitalizing on incremental selling opportunities at the Division level.
- Collaborate Engage with Kroger District Managers & Staff to drive optimal execution of the Kroger G.O. sales plan by implementing display compliance thru local opportunities & securing unscripted display space.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Region Revenue targets within responsible Kroger Division . GR , Dollar & Unit consumption & display support are key performance metrics
- Strategically develops and implement plans to achieve Mutual Growth Goal Setting process at Division level.
- Ensure execution of all pricing initiatives. (Base/White Tag/Yellow Tag &Feature)
- Invest 3-4 days weekly in the field with Customer, Retail, and Third Party Agencies to ensure execution of communicated priorities.
- Leads local planning and assessment collaboration with Kraft Agency Sales Managers, and Agency partners (Acosta, Empire Action/Advantage) to deliver execution of the defined Kroger Sales Plan and local business building priorities and resource deployment. (Surge)
- Collaborates with CCM’s & CBL’s to ensure alignment on business objectives to maximize Trade & SMG spend and category specific business objectives.
- Leads collaboration with CSL organization (CSCs) responsible for Division level inventory position, Product supply, and Adaptive Supply Chain initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience ideally in the food, beverage, and/or CPG industries, but must have strong relationship sales experience
- Experience in Retail selling
- Ability to plan, organize and set priorities
- Superior communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and influencing skills
