This is a virtual role and can be located anywhere in the United States.

Business Intelligence Business Analyst – Evaluates the internal technical needs of an organization and recommend solutions. Analyst serves as a liaison between IT and internal business customers.

• Manages the BI project queue, including timely response, engagement, and close out of requests within BI project request SLAs.
• Reviews all incoming ticket requests in the StarTek BI queue for completeness and accuracy in accordance with the StarTek BI Service Request Process. Follows up with project requestors to document any required elements that may be missing in request.
• Prioritizes projects through alignment with StarTek BI Service Request Process and the StarTek Business Owners.
• Project manages the Tier 1 (basic) requests including creating the requirement specifications, engaging with project requestors & project resources, and successfully closing out and resolving the request
• Routes the more complex requests to the Business Analyst II or SR Business Analyst for completion
• Communicates project status through the StarTek BI project request process, status calls and other communication
• Supports business objectives and the consolidation of project requests through process and report standardization
• Documents request and process measures for all BI standards and deliverables.

• Must be fluent in English verbal and written communications.
• Ability to manage basic projects and segments of projects.
• Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems and record keeping.
• Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes and reports.
• Ability to interact positively, courteously and professionally with fellow members of the Business Intelligence team.
• Knowledge of systems and how end users interact with the systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to document processes and solutions in an orderly manner.
• Ability to ask questions and obtain necessary information for projects.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of computer equipment and software.
• Ability to work regular; predictable attendance is a requirement
• At least one (1) year professional experience preferred
• Associate’s degree (AA) in related field or equivalent experience required
