General Description:

-Professional sales position focused on the profitable growth of assigned customers, prospective customers, and industry segments.

-Lead the creation, improvement, and implementation of detailed, innovative sales strategies to drive ChemTreat’s position and increase share within the assigned market segment.

-Acquire new customers through the identification, prioritization, strategic analysis, and sales plan development/execution.

- Work closely with Field Sales, Technical Staff, and Management to develop retention and growth strategies for assigned portfolio. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
 -Craft viable and profitable pricing structure in assigned corporate customer accounts that will increase sales & profit margin.

-Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

-Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.

-Provide analysis of markets, trends, competition, portfolios, technologies, and revenues.

Supplemental Responsibilities:

-Design and support industry trade shows and customer seminars.  Participate in various industry groups, seminars, conferences, etc. to build network and promote ChemTreat. 

-Construct and present effective proposals to customers/prospects

-Communicate the ChemTreat Value Proposition to all levels of the Customer from the local level to the C-Suite.

-Attract, interview, and screen new candidates at various levels.

-Deliver industry-specific training to ChemTreat people and customers.

-Sell, start up, and transition new business to the front-line ChemTreat Sales and Service Team

-Customer & prospect entertainment

-Troubleshoot technical and industry-specific issues

-Effectively audit key unit operations

Knowledge and Skills:

-Must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to identify critical issues and craft practical solutions that enable the creations of sustainable competitive advantage.

-Excellent communication and presentation capability; Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) or equivalent skills.

-Industry knowledge specific to water treatment

-Executive sales experience desired; demonstrated negotiation & leadership-management skills.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

-Bachelor of Science; Engineering or technical degree preferred

-10+ years of successful experience

Physical Demands:

-Minimum of 50% travel

-May require longer work days & varied schedules

Working Conditions and Environment:
 -Individual must be comfortable with travel and hotels, be able to work with all levels within a customer organization, and build trust and respect with customers, prospective customers, and ChemTreat’s field and leadership teams.
