Administrator Hospital Ops

In the role of Hospital Operations Administrator, you will serve as the lead on-site administrator on the evening, night and weekend shifts. Further, you will provide operational oversight throughout the hospital, as well as, foster an environment of collaboration and respect with all interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Serves as a clinical and operational resource to nursing staff and other departments to ensure optimal collaborative care and services to patients and families.
- Interprets policies, provides crisis management and makes timely decisions that directly impact patient care. Ensures communication and collaboration among departments.
- Evaluates staffing requirements necessary to support operations and perform all the services rendered by the departments throughout the facility.
- Directs and coordinates the activities related to the safe and efficient delivery of patient care. Collaborates with management to fulfill the hospital's mission.
- Plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates all inter/intra departmental activities. Builds and maintains productive work relationships to optimize operations.
- Oversees patient care operations to ensure delivery of quality and evidence based patient care to all populations served. Identifies potential quality concerns, provides input and makes recommendations to the management.
- Participates in relevant interdisciplinary committees and councils.
- Maintains current knowledge of and ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care which includes JC, CMS, IHI, CAP, etc.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field, required. Either Master's or Bachelor's Degree must be in Nursing.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- Minimum of seven (7) years nursing experience including previous management experience, required.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, required.
