The Manger of Planning & Analysis position is responsible for consolidating all financial forecasts for Prudential Retirement and will be a key member in the Planning & Analysis team. This position has significant interaction with Senior Finance Management within the division.

The primary responsibilities of this position are:

• Managing processes within the quarterly forecasts and annual plan.
• Consolidating components of the financial forecasts such as cash flows, key performance indicators, GAAP and STAT operating earnings, and/or capital.
• Supporting strategic projects including Fed readiness, forecasting and reporting.
• Supporting the development of financial presentations
• Producing insightful analytics and financial metrics.
• Assisting in capital management.
• Analyzing results from key competitors and investment analysts.
• Support numerous ad hoc requests for financial information and develop efficiencies around production, retention repeatability, and leveragability.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to communicate results and influence at senior management level
• Ability to convey sense of urgency and to work productively with internal and corporate business partners.
• Highly motivated and creative problem solver; strategic thinker on financial mgmt issues
• Demonstrated ability to thoughtfully analyze, assess, challenge, and influence,.
• Strong project management skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field.
• 5 years experience in financial planning, reporting, or related.
• Advanced Excel and technical skills (e.g. data extraction and manipulation)
• Strong research and analytical skills
